According to TSN, the Dallas Stars will not re-sign goaltender Marty Turco for next season.

Stars General Manager Joe Nieuwendyk said it was time for the Stars to go in a different direction. During the season, Dallas traded for goalie Kari Lehtonen from the Atlanta Thrashers.

Turco, 34, spent nine seasons with the Stars. He was 22-20-11 record in 53 games this season. He had four shutouts, a .913 save percentage and a 2.72 goals-against average.
