Report: One more year for Selanne? @NHL

Fans who chanted "one more year" at Anaheim star Teemu Selanne near the end of this past season just might be getting their wish.

According to a report, Selanne has decided to play another season in the NHL with the Ducks. The report appeared in Veikkaaja, a sports magazine in Selanne's native Finland.

Kevin Allen of USA Today reported Tuesday on Twitter the Ducks said Selanne hasn't made up his mind yet, despite the report.

"Only a major injury or another setback may change his plans," the report in Veikkaaja said through a translation. "He has already skated in Anaheim, and will continue his off-season training in Finland this summer."

Selanne, who will turn 42 years old next month, has 663 goals and 1,406 points in 1,341 career NHL games. He had 26 goals and 66 points this past season, and has 57 goals and 146 points in two seasons since reaching his 40th birthday. If Selanne returns and scores at least 11 goals next season, he'd have the second-most in League history after his 40th birthday behind Gordie Howe's 113.
