Report: Heatley to Sharks in 3-way trade @NHLdotcom
According to a report by ESPN's John Buccigross, disgruntled forward Dany Heatley will be traded to the San Jose Sharks in a deal that will send Patrick Marleau to the Los Angeles Kings and Alexander Frolov and Jarret Stoll to the Senators.

Heatley has wanted out of Ottawa since the 2008-09 season ended. He invoked his no-trade clause to block a move to Edmonton earlier in the summer.

The Senators open training camp Saturday and Heatley said he would report if a trade is not made by then. Heatley scored 39 goals and 33 assists in 82 games last season and had signed a $45 million, six-year contract extension less than two years ago.
