Report: Canucks' Luongo injured @NHLdotcom
According to a report in the Vancouver Province Wednesday, Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo is injured.

The paper did not detail the nature of the injury or how many games Luongo could miss. Luongo reportedly did not practice Wednesday.

TSN reports Luongo suffered a hairline fracture to his ribs.

The club has yet to make any announcements.

"Luongo took treatment following a 5-4 loss to the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday at GM Place and could have hurt his right shoulder in the third period," the newspaper reported.

Luongo missed 24 games last season with a groin strain, but rallied to lead the Canucks to a Northwest Division championship and a second-round playoff experience.
