Report: Boudreau expects Fowler back soon

by NHL.com Staff / NHL.com

The Orange County Register reported Friday that Anaheim Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau said he expects defenseman Cam Fowler to return to the lineup in one of the team's next two games.

According to the report, Boudreau said Fowler should be available for either the Ducks' game Sunday at home against the Colorado Avalanche or their game Monday at the Los Angeles Kings.

Fowler has missed the last eight games with an upper-body injury sustained Feb. 2 in a game against the Kings when he was hit into the boards in the second period by the Los Angeles forward Jarret Stoll.

In six games this season, Fowler has one assist and a plus-2 rating while averaging 19:57 of ice time per game.
