Defenseman scored one goal in first six NHL games for Chicago

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have re-assigned defenseman Adam Boqvist (BOH-kwihst) to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

A native of Falun, Sweden, Boqvist had one goal in six games with the Blackhawks. The 19-year old made his National Hockey League debut on Nov. 2 at LAK and scored his first career NHL goal on Nov. 3 at ANA. He has one goal in six games with the IceHogs this season.
