The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have recalled forward Dylan Sikura (sih-KYUR-uh) and defenseman Carl Dahlstrom from the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs, assigned forward Alexandre Fortin (for-TAYN) to Rockford and placed forward Artem Anisimov on injured reserve (concussion protocol), retroactive to Dec. 9.

Sikura, 23, has appeared in 26 games this season with Rockford where he leads the team with 18 points. His nine goals also pace the IceHogs and his nine assists sit second on the team. He signed with the Blackhawks on March 25, 2018 after completing his senior season at Northeastern University and tallied two assists in his NHL debut on March 29, 2018 vs. WPG. He skated in five games last season with Chicago and tallied three assists. Sikura was originally drafted by the Blackhawks in the sixth round (178th overall) of the 2014 National Hockey League Draft.
Dahlstrom, 23, has registered eight points (1G, 7A) in 22 games with the IceHogs this season. Last year, he spent time with both Rockford and Chicago. In 11 games with the Blackhawks, he had three assists. Dahlstrom posted 28 points (3G, 25A) in 64 regular-season games with Rockford during the 2017-18 campaign, while adding three goals and six assists in 13 postseason games. The Stockholm, Sweden, native was originally drafted by the Blackhawks in the second round (51st overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.
Fortin, 21, has played in 24 games this season with the Blackhawks and has six points (3G, 3A). He started the 2018-19 season in Rockford where he appeared in two games and was recalled by the Blackhawks on Oct. 9. In 53 games with Rockford last year as a rookie, Fortin tallied 21 points (4G, 17A). He also appeared in one postseason game. Fortin signed as a free agent with the Blackhawks on Sept. 25, 2016.
Anisimov has recorded 15 points (6G, 9A) in 31 games this year.
