Reinhart scores twice, including in overtime as Kootenay Ice win 3-2 over Pats

REGINA - Sam Reinhart scored in overtime and in the third period to tie the game as the Kootenay Ice won 3-2 against the Regina Pats in the WHL on Wednesday night.

Reinhart also had an assist while his brother and linemate Max chipped in with three helpers.

Brock Montgomery rounded out the scoring for Kootenay (26-13-5) with a goal and an assist. All of the Ice's goals came on the power play.

Both Regina (25-17-5) goals came from Morgan Klimchuk. The Pats converted once in seven power play opportunites.

Earning the win for Kootenay and making 21 saves was Nathan Lieuwen. Taking the loss for Regina and making 23 saves was Matt Hewitt.
