Reid's 26-save effort backstops Spokane to 4-2 win over Tri-City

SPOKANE, Wash. - James Reid made 26 saves to lead the Spokane Chiefs to a 4-2 win over the Tri-City Americans on Saturday night in the Western Hockey League.

Trevor Glass had the game winner for the Chiefs (21-11-0-3) at 7:20 of the third period. Jared Cowan, Justin McCrae and Ryan Letts also scored, while Seth Compton added two assists.

Mitch McColm and Adam Hughesman replied for the Americans (23-9-0-2), who had an 18-save performance from Drew Owsley.
