Rehus gets game-winner to help Petes push past IceDogs 5-2 @NHLdotcom

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Branislav Rehus had a goal and an assist, including the winning marker, as Peterborough Petes beat Niagara IceDogs 5-2 in OHL action Thursday.

Justin Soryal also scored a goal and an assist for the Petes (22-24-0-3), with Kenzie Sheppard, Zack Kassian and Joey West, into an empty net, getting singles.

Luca Caputi and Jason Bergeron replied for the IceDogs (28-21-0-1), who suffered their first loss in six games. The IceDogs arrived late for the game because of heavy traffic and trailed 3-0 after the first period.

Trevor Cann picked up the win in goal, while Sebastian Dahm suffered the loss as the Petes outshot Niagara 39-36.
