The World Cup of Hockey 2016 has yet to be decided, but there might already be a clear-cut MVP.

The Ref Cam is producing some phenomenal footage from the games, giving fans an up close and personal view of the action at full speed.

The Best of Ref Cam video from Team Russia's 4-3 win against Team North America on Monday shows a variety of big plays, including Nikita Kucherov swatting a bouncing puck past Matt Murray to give Russia a 2-1 lead in the second period, and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' goal that pulled North America within one with three minutes left.

One huge play that didn't make the cut for the best of reel, located at the end of this highlight, was the Connor McDavid to Auston Matthews goal in a dazzling display between the past two No. 1 picks in the NHL Draft.

The Ref Cam highlight reel from the opening weekend has just as many high-flying plays presented from this stunning viewpoint. These videos are a must-see from the tournament.
