Reddington scores first of season in Chiefs' 3-1 win over Broncos @NHLdotcom

SPOKANE, Wash. - Mike Reddington scored his first goal of the year as the Spokane Chiefs defeated the Swift Current Broncos 3-1 on Saturday night Western Hockey League action.

Levi Nelson scored the Broncos' lone goal in the first period as Swift Current took a 1-0 lead.

Reddington tied the game and overage forward Judd Blackwater gave the Chiefs (24-5-1-2) a 2-1 lead in the second. Import Ondrej Roman scored an insurance goal for the Chiefs in the third.

Spokane netminder Kevin Armstrong finished with 19 saves for Spokane while Swift Current's Travis Yonkman stopped 21 shots for the Broncos (17-12-0-5).
