Situation Room Initiated Challenge: DET @ CAR - OT

At 1:59 of overtime in the Red Wings/Hurricanes game, Situation Room initiated a review under the terms of a Coach's Challenge to examine whether Andreas Athanasiou interfered with Carolina goaltender Eddie Lack prior to his goal.
After reviewing all available replays and consulting with the NHL Hockey Operations staff, the Referee confirmed no goaltender interference infractions occurred before the puck crossed the goal line.

Therefore the original call stands - good goal Detroit Red Wings.
