The Detroit Red Wings held a moment of silence for Wayne State police officer Collin Rose, who was killed in the line of duty this week.

Rose was an avid Red Wings fan and the organization invited his fiancee Nikki and members of the Wayne State police force to Joe Louis Arena before Saturday night's game against the Montreal Canadiens.
Rose, a K9 unit officer, was killed on Wednesday while investigating an incident.
"May he rest in peace knowing that Michiganders are collectively mourning his loss and that we will support his family, friends and colleagues to the best of our ability while they grieve," Michigan governor Rick Snyder Sndyer said in a statement.
