Red Wings-Flames highlights Monday schedule @NHLdotcom
The Calgary Flames had a chance to move ahead of the Detroit Red Wings in the standings on Sunday night, but came up short.

On Monday, they'll get a second chance.

As part of the NHL's three-game schedule on Monday night, the Flames will host the Red Wings at the Pengrowth Saddledome at 9:30 p.m. ET. Eighth place in the Western Conference will be on the line, as Detroit (33-23-12) remains one point ahead of Calgary (34-25-9) following the latter's 3-1 loss at Vancouver on Sunday night.

The showdown can be seen on TSN in Canada.

The two other games begin at 7 p.m. ET. In a game that can be seen on Versus in the U.S. and TSN2 in Canada, the New Jersey Devils battle the Boston Bruins at the Prudential Center. Boston (30-25-12) is just one point ahead of the New York Rangers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Also, the Columbus Blue Jackets will host the Edmonton Oilers at Nationwide Arena. The Blue Jackets (27-31-11) are 13 points behind Detroit with 13 games to play.
