The Detroit Red Wings on Saturday agreed to terms with forward Anthony Mantha, their first-round pick in the 2013 NHL Draft, on a three-year entry-level contract. No financial terms were disclosed.

Mantha, 19, was the 20th player taken in this year's draft. He was the only 50-goal scorer in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season while playing with the Val d'Or Foreurs and leads the QMJHL with 23 points (13 goals) in eight games this season. The 6-foot-5, 204-pound native of Longueuil, Quebec, has 83 goals and 158 points in 139 major junior games.
