It's the usual camp inquiry:
'Who will wear the C?'
Only this time, we're not just talking about the Flames' iconic insignia. With the departure of longtime skipper Mark Giordano, the team is now on the hunt for the 20th captain in franchise history.

"We've talked a lot about it," said General Manager Brad Treliving as he addressed the media on Day 1 of Flames Training Camp. "There won't be any announcements today and there won't be any announcements tomorrow, (but) we're going to let this thing play out.
"It's a really big decision.
"I don't think you can name a captain just so you can check a box and say that you have that stroked off the list. (Head Coach) Darryl (Sutter) and I have talked a lot about it, and I think that's something that's going to have to play itself out over camp and we're going to see in the coming days."
Last year, Mikael Backlund, Sean Monahan and Matthew Tkachuk wore the As on a full-time basis, with veteran rearguard Chris Tanev serving as an alternate later in the season on Monahan's absence.
