Rattie scores twice in regulation as the Winterhawks defeat the Rockets 6-5 @NHLdotcom

KELOWNA, B.C. - Sven Bartschi scored the only goal in the shootout to lift the Portland Winterhawks over the Kelowna Rockets 6-5 Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Ty Rattie scored twice for the Winterhawks (10-7-2) in regulation and Brad Ross,Tyler Wotherspoon and William Wrenn added singles.

Zach Franco and Brett Bulmer each scored twice for the Rockets (5-9-2) and Shane McColgan scored once.

Brendan Burke made 14 saves for the win while Jordon Cooke turned aside 43 saves in defeat.

Kelowna scored once on seven power play chances as Portland went 0-for-4 with the extra man advantage.
