The New York Rangers recalled forward Ryan Bourque from Hartford of the American Hockey League on Saturday.
Bourque, 24, made his NHL debut April 9 against the Ottawa Senators. He had 12 goals and 32 points in 73 regular-season games for Hartford and one assist in five Calder Cup Playoff games as the Wolf Pack won their first-round series.
Bourque's recall gives the Rangers a 13th forward after James Sheppard took the place of injured Mats Zuccarello in the lineup.
The Rangers trail the Washington Capitals 1-0 in their Eastern Conference Second Round series with Game 2 on Saturday at Madison Square Garden (12:30 p.m. ET; NBC, SN, TVA Sports).
