Prospect Update: Another Win for Shesterkin

Rangers goaltending prospect Igor Shesterkin made 27 saves in a 5-3 SKA win over Kunlun Thursday in the Kontinental Hockey League. The 2014 fourth-round pick improved to 20-2-3 on the season with a .940 SV% and a 1.67 GAA with eight shutouts.

Shesterkin is fifth in the KHL in SV%, fourth in GAA and first in shutouts.
Defenseman Sergey Zborovskiy was named to Team Russia's 2017 World Junior Championship preliminary roster earlier this week. The 2015 third-round pick currently plays for the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League, where he has three goals and 13 assists for 16 points in 20 games. His plus-29 rating is second in the WHL.
Last month, Zborovskiy represented Russia in the Canada Russia Series.
