Four Rangers skaters found their way onto the scoresheet on Friday as the 2018 IIHF World Championships officially got underway in Denmark.

Mika Zibanejad scored a goal and added an assist in his first game for Sweden since the 2012 World Junior Championships, who blanked Belarus 5-0 to start the tournament with a victory.
Lias Andersson scored the game-winning goal in the first period to get the scoring started.

Pavel Buchnevich scored a goal in Russia's convincing 7-0 victory over France, while Chris Kreider picked up a pair of assists to help Team USA beat Canada, 5-4, in a shootout.
Filip Chytil and the Czech Republic begin their tournament tomorrow against Slovakia. The United States, meanwhile, will take on Denmark. Sweden faces the Czech Republic on Saturday and Russia battles Austria.
