Henrik Lundqvist used his morning bike ride to fight cancer in New York on Wednesday.
The New York Rangers goalie pedaled on a stationary bike as part of the Times Square Takeover for Cycle for Survival, which raises money to research rare cancers.
Lundqvist was one of about 1,000 riders, who consisted of doctors, patients, caregivers, survivors of rare cancers and special guests. He got involved through Tag Heuer watchmakers, a first-time sponsor of the event.
About 100 bikers rode at a time throughout the day. All money raised went to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
