The New York Rangers rarely go to Montreal on Sundays. Their visit to the Bell Centre marks the Blueshirts' 304th regular-season game in Montreal against the Canadiens, but just the fifth to be played on a Sunday.

The Rangers come to Montreal on top of the overall standings after a 3-0 win in Toronto on Saturday -- the same night the Canadiens fell to 1-6 in shootouts by losing 3-2 at home to Ottawa.

NBC Sports Network will air the game in the United States, beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Canadian fans can tune in on RDS.

There are five other games on Sunday's NHL schedule, beginning with a 1:30 p.m. ET contest in Tampa Bay, where the Penguins will try to build on Friday's 4-1 win at Florida. The Lightning are home after a 4-3 loss at Washington the same night.

Washington is home again at 5 p.m. ET against Carolina, which beat Boston 4-2 in Raleigh on Saturday. Also at 7, San Jose goes for its second road win in as many nights when it visits Chicago. The Hawks lost 3-2 in overtime at Detroit on Saturday afternoon.

Los Angeles, a 4-1 winner at Calgary on Saturday, finishes the Alberta daily double with an 8 p.m. ET visit to Edmonton. The Oilers are coming off a 5-0 loss to Anaheim on Friday. The Ducks wrap up their week in Western Canada at 9 p.m. ET when they visit Vancouver. The Canucks have had two days off after wrapping up a four-game trip with a 3-2 overtime win at St. Louis on Thursday.
