Rangers, Ducks swap minor-league defensemen @NHLdotcom
In an exchange of minor-league players the New York Rangers have traded defenseman Nigel Williams to the Anaheim Ducks for defenseman Stu Bickel.

Williams, 22, was a second-round pick of Colorado in the 2006 Entry Draft who played last season in Hartford of the AHL, recording 4 goals and 20 points. A product of Aurora, Ill., he played parts of three seasons in the U.S. National Team Development Program.

Bickel, 24, was undrafted and played three seasons with Green Bay and Sioux City in the USHL and one season at the University of Minnesota before splitting time in the AHL and ECHL over the past two seasons. He had 2 goals and 4 points last season with San Antonio of the AHL.
