GREENBURGH, N.Y. --
Rangers defenseman Michael Sauer
was a no-show for his group's on-ice session for the second straight day at the MSG Training Center.
Sauer is dealing with tendinitis in his right knee, Rangers coach John Tortorella said Friday. Tortorella said then he didn't think the injury was serious, but he was concerned because he missed a day of training.
Now Sauer has missed two. Tortorella will likely address Sauer's situation when he meets with the media Saturday afternoon. Sauer had 15 points in 76 games last season.
