Rachunek, Thompson each score twice as Sault Ste. Marie routs Sudbury 7-0

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - Tomas Rachunek and Brett Thompson each had a pair of goals Wednesday to lead the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds past the Sudbury Wolves 7-0 in OHL action.

Thompson's two goals, his 11th and 12th of the season, came on third-period power plays for the Greyhounds (11-11-2), who finished 4-of-8 with the man advantage. Rachunek's goals were his first of the season.

Jacob Muzzin added a goal and two assists, while Michael Quesnele and Nick Cousins had a goal and an assist apiece for Sault Ste. Marie. Robin Lehner turned aside 27 shots for his first career OHL shutout.

Andrew Loverock made 26 saves for the Wolves (8-13-2).
