Travis Hamonic on facing an Eastern Conference team twice in seven days:
"It helps. I mean, it's teams that you don't see often. You do, obviously scouting reports and you watch the video and see what their tendencies are as best you can, but you can really only get a taste for that once you play them, so we play them twice within a week, I think we know what to expect. Obviously, they're a good team, a lot of depth and great goaltending so we'll be prepared for that and ready to go on our side."
Hamonic on playing his 500th regular-season game on Monday:
"It's obviously significant for me in the sense that I'm grateful for this life that I have and I know that it's something to appreciate and you can't take for granted. I know it's a lot more games than a lot of guys get so I'm grateful for that opportunity and that chance. But for me the number doesn't really mean too much other than how grateful I am, but I think for my family, they're really excited, they've lived and breathed it every step of the way with me so for them I think it maybe holds a bit more significance for them."

Dougie Hamilton on playing two games in a week against his former team:
"It's, I guess, one of those games that you know is coming up and you're aware of it coming on the calendar and stuff. But it's been a while now, I think I've been in Calgary - played more games in Calgary now so it felt a little weird going back there this time and didn't quite feel like home whereas it used to so it's kind of changed as the years go by, but just know some of the guys now and just try to shut them down."
David Rittich on the Flames bouncing back against the Bruins:
"You can think about the last game until midnight and today is the next day, a new day … tomorrow everyone should be better than last night … I'm still learning, it's my first year in the NHL. Last night, it happened and I need to move on, so I will prepare for tomorrow and hopefully we'll be better than last night … [tomorrow] is a great game for us - we can show that we can play against the top teams in the NHL."
Morgan Klimchuk on being a Calgary native in his first call-up with the Flames:
"It's tough to describe. I've seen a lot of hockey here in this building and played a bit here in junior, but to be here with the Flames in a completely different setting, something that you grow up truly dreaming of, it's an unbelievable experience and something that I'm going to try and hold onto and obviously make the most of."
Glen Gulutzan on afternoon games:
"I like them, cause they don't have all the build-up and the morning skate, which I think is somewhat useless. I think the guys just come, they wake up, they eat, they get ready to play. It's kind of like minor hockey, right? I'd play two in a day if you could, but yeah, they're clean, you've got the rest of your day to go on with it, there's not the whole build-up and the anxiety. The guys love 'em, I can tell you that. The guys love the afternoon games."
