Quintin Laing scores twice as Abbotsford Heat beat Chicago Wolves 3-1 @NHL

CHICAGO - Quintin Laing scored twice to lead the Abbotsford Heat past the Chicago Wolves 3-1 in American Hockey League play Sunday.

Krys Kolanos added the other goal for Abbotsford (16-8-1), which won its third-straight game.

Tim Miller scored the lone goal for Chicago (9-8-4).

Miller's goal tied the game at 11:59 in the first period after Kolanos opened the scoring at 8:14.

But Laing scored just 32 second later to put the Heat ahead for good, and added one more power-play goal in the third to cap the scoring.

Abbotsford goaltender Danny Taylor made 25 saves for the win, while at the other end Eddie Lack stopped 22.
