SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - David Quesnele scored a pair of goals as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds beat the Brampton Battalion 7-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Ryan Sproul and Nick Cousins had a goal and a two assists each for the Greyhounds (14-9-0) as Joe Rogalski and Michael Schumacher rounded out the scoring.
Brett Mackie had a goal and an assist for the Battalion (12-7-3) while Mitchell Porowski added a pair of assists. Barclay Goodrow scored the other Brampton goal.
Jack Campbell made 28 saves in his first home start for the Greyhounds.
Keegan Wilson got the start for the Battalion but was pulled after giving up three goals on five shots. Matej Machovsky came in and gave up two goals on four shots before being pulled after the Greyhounds fifth goal. Wilson came back in and stopped nine shots the rest of the way.
Sault Ste. Marie went 1-for-4 on the power play while Brampton failed to score on either of their opportunities with the man advantage.
