Quebec wins 3-0 to tie best-of-seven series with Cape Breton at three @NHLdotcom

QUEBEC - Kelsey Tessier scored two goals for Quebec and Charles Lavigne stopped all 34 shots he faced as the Remparts shut out the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 3-0 to tie their best-of-seven QMJHL series at three.

After a scoreless first period, Tessier scored on the power play 5:19 into the second from Jonathan Audy-Marchessault and Samuel Groulx.

There was no more scoring until 18:21 of the third with Quebec again on the power play. Dmitri Kugryshev beat Cape Breton netminder Olivier Roy for a 2-0 lead, with Benjamin Breault and Kevin Marshall drawing the assists.

Tessier sealed the win for the Remparts with 12 seconds left in regulation into an empty net.

Roy made 19 saves in taking the loss.

Quebec finished 2-for-5 on the power play, while Cape Breton ended the night 0-for-6.

Game 7 is set for Tuesday night in Quebec.
