by NHL.com Staff / NHL.com
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- A small earthquake occurred Thursday night during the first intermission of Game 4 of the Western Conference Quarterfinal between the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks.

The quake, measured at 4.0 by the U.S. Geological Survey, didn't rattle the Honda Center crowd much and didn’t affect play -- it took place during the first intermission. The tremor was centered in an area two miles northeast of nearby Yorba Linda.

The adjacent Chino Hills was an active area Thursday as a 3.8 magnitude quake also occurred at 4:56 p.m. PT.
