Quadruple-header highlights NHLN-US schedule @NHLdotcom

If a Saturday doubleheader on the NHL Network is great, then it stands to reason a quadruple-header would be twice as nice.

Hockey fans in the United States will find out for sure when they tune into the NHL Network this weekend as the game's top spot for breaking news and highlights broadcasts a non-stop schedule of action featuring many of the game's top teams and most exciting players.

It all begins Thursday night, when Jordan Staal welcomes his former team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, to Raleigh as the Carolina Hurricanes host the Penguins at 7 p.m. ET in a battle of first-place teams. The action comes to Chicago the following night as the Chicago Blackhawks continue their historic run this season in a divisional matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The puck drops Friday night from United Center at 8:30 p.m. ET.

That's all a prelude to an all-day, all-night schedule of NHL action Saturday, starting at noon ET when the Ottawa Senators visit the City of Brotherly Love to take on the Philadelphia Flyers. Next, the Winnipeg Jets will look to continue their hot play with a Southeast Division matchup (3 p.m. ET) against the suddenly resurgent Washington Capitals in Winnipeg.

As the sun begins to set on another exciting day of hockey action, the NHL Network will just be getting started. A full evening begins at 7 p.m. ET, as the Montreal Canadiens look to continue their hot play in a bounce-back season when they host the Pittsburgh Penguins. An incredible slate of Saturday hockey ends at 10 p.m. ET as the Vancouver Canucks host the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings in a rematch from last year's postseason.

Normally that would be enough game action to meet the needs of even the most fervent NHL fan. But there's more Sunday. The St. Louis Blues visit the Dallas Stars at 3 p.m. ET to close out a weekend that hockey fans won't want to miss.
