Quad City Flames forward Greentree named AHL player of the week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Quad City Flames left wing Kyle Greentree was named American Hockey League player of the week Monday.

Greentree scored four goals and added five assists in four games for the Flames last week. His offensive outburst included a penalty-shot goal in a 5-2 loss to Peoria on Wednesday, and a goal and two assists in a 4-1 win over Rockford on Friday.

Greentree ranks second in the American Hockey League with 32 goals and is tied for 10th with 61 points in 63 games for Quad City.
