QMJHL's Sea Dogs trade winger Alexandre Beauregard to Sagueneens for draft picks @NHLdotcom

SAINT JOHN, N.B. - The Memorial Cup-champion Saint John Sea Dogs traded winger Alexandre Beauregard to the Chicoutimi Sagueneens for a pair of draft picks on Wednesday.

Chicoutimi also receives a second-round pick in the deal while sending its first- and third-round picks in 2012 to Saint John.

The 20-year-old Beauregard is the older brother of current Sagueneens defenceman Michael Beauregard.

Alexandre Beauregard had 13 goals and 23 points in 65 games last season with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and the Sea Dogs.

He scored the double-overtime winner in Game 6 of the President?s Cup final.
