QMJHL Roundup: Oke with first-career hat trick as Oceanic down Titan @NHL

Scott Oke scored three times Sunday as the Rimouski Oceanic came from behind to beat the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 6-4 in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

It was the first time in Oke's junior career that he has recorded a hat trick after scoring two goals in a game on seven different occasions.

The 19-year-old forward also extended his point streak to six games and he has eight goals and two assists in the process.

Anthony DeLuca had twice for the Oceanic (30-11-5), who trailed 4-2 midway through the third period before scoring four unanswered goals, while Frederik Gauthier chipped in with three assists.

Peter Trainor scored once for Rimouski, which extended its win streak to five games.

Christophe Lalancette had a goal and two assists for the Titan (18-24-6), who are winless in their last four outings. Zach O'Brien, Marc-Olivier Brouillard and Michael Beaudry also scored.

Rimouski's Robin Gusse stopped 10-of-12 shots for the win after replacing Phlippe Desrosiers, who allowed two goals on 20 shots in 34 minutes of action before leaving the game. Acadie-Bathurst's Jacob Brennan made 36 saves in a losing cause.

The Oceanic went 3-for-7 on the power play while the Titan scored once on four chances with the man advantage.

Elsewhere in the QMJHL it was: Moncton 7, Saint John 0; Quebec 3, Rouyn-Noranda 2; Baie-Comeau 4, Shawinigan 3; Halifax 4; and Blainville-Boisbriand 3.

At Rimouski, Que., Oke opened the scoring 1:01 into the first period. Trainor scored on the power play at 10:15 before Lalancette replied with a power-play goals for the Titan to make it 2-1 Rimouski after 20 minutes.

O'Brien and Beaudry scored 2:03 apart in the second period to give Acadie-Bathurst its first lead of the game.

Brouillard made it 4-2 a 1:42 into the third period, however the Titan couldn't't hold on to their lead.

Oke scored with the man advantage at 10:40 and DeLuca tied the game 4-4 just 66 seconds later.

DeLuca gave Rimouski a 5-4 lead at 14:20 and Oke added his third goal of the game into an empty net at 19:20.

Wildcats 7, Sea Dogs 0

At Saint John, N.B., Alex Saulnier and Ross Johnston each had two goals and an assist and Alex Dubeau stopped 23 shots as Moncton (28-16-1) blanked the Sea Dogs (19-26-0).


Remparts 3, Huskies 2

At Quebec City, Anthony Verret and Duncan MacIntyre each had a goal and an assist and Francois Brassard stopped 18 shots as the Remparts (26-16-3) halted a five-game winless streak by defeating Royn-Noranda (28-16-1).


Drakkar 4, Cataractes 3

At Baie-Comeau, Que., Dominic Poulin had a goal and an assist as the Drakkar (31-11-4) edged Shawinigan (10-29-5).


Mooseheads 4, Armada 3

At Boisbriand, Que., the Armada scored three straight goals early in the third period to take a one-goal lead, but Jonathan Drouin and MacKenzie Weegar replied for the Mooseheads 29 seconds apart as Halifax (38-4-3) beat Blainville-Boisbriand (27-14-5).
