QMJHL Roundup: Gabriel Gagne scores twice as Tigres get past Voltigeurs @NHL

DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. - Gabriel Gagne had a pair of goals to lead the Victoriaville Tigres past the Drummondville Voltigeurs 6-3 on Wednesday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Bradley Lalonde, Mathieu Ayotte, Maxime Comtois and Marc Beckstead rounded out the attack for the Tigres (10-9-3).

Mathieu Sevigny struck twice for Drummondville (12-11-0) with Michael Carcone adding the other.

James Povall made 29 saves for the win in net. Nicolas Lachance started for the Voltigeurs, but was pulled after kicking out 5-of-8 shots in 22:48. Anthony Dumont-Bouchard turned away 13-of-15 shots in 37:12 of relief.

Victoriaville was scoreless on two power-play chances while Drummondville went 2 for 5.



ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. ? Anthony Chapados scored the winner in the second period as Rimouski held on to beat the Huskies.

Dylan Montcalm added a short-handed goal for the Oceanic (13-7-1).

Jean-Christophe Beaudin replied with a short-handed goal of his own in the second for Rouyn-Noranda (17-2-4).



GATINEAU, Que. ? Alex Breton scored at 4:59 of overtime and added an assist in regulation as the Olympiques edged Blainville-Boisbriand.

Elie Berube chipped in with a power-play goal for Gatineau (14-6-2).

Yvan Mongo had the lone goal for the Armada (8-12-3).
