CHARLOTTETOWN - Jonathan Drouin helped set up the tying goal, then scored the winner in overtime to lift the Halifax Mooseheads over the Charlottetown Islanders 3-2 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Tuesday.
Andrew Ryan had a goal and an assist, including the tying goal at 19:03 of the second period, and Timo Meier also scored for the Mooseheads (45-18-3), who extended their win streak to 11 games. Nikolaj Ehlers chipped in with two assists.
Spenser Cobbold scored his 14th of the season for Charlottetown (20-38-8) and Troy Vance scored a power-play goal to give the Islanders a 2-1 edge before Ryan tied it up.
Halifax goalie Zachary Fucale made 19 saves while Charlottetown's Eric Brassard stopped 36 shots in the losing effort.
