QMJHL Roundup: Derek Famulare scores twice as Chicoutimi beats Rimouski 4-1 @NHL

Derek Famulare scored twice to lead the Chicoutimi Sagueneens to a 4-1 win over the Rimouski Oceanic in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Saturday.

Mathieu Bolduc and Kirill Tulupov added goals for Chicoutimi.

Elsewhere in QMJHL action Saturday, it was: Saint John 3, Quebec 0; Cape Breton 7, Acadie-Bathurst 3; Halifax 6, P.E.I. 3 and Rouyn-Noranda 3, Val-d'Or 2 (OT).

At Chicoutimi, Que., Francois Levesque made 20 saves for the Sagueneens (5-5-0-0).

Olivier Fortier scored the lone goal for Rimouski (3-7-1).

Sea Dogs 3, Remparts 0

At Saint John, N.B., Alex Grant scored the eventual winner as the Sea Dogs topped Quebec.

Scott Howes and Alexandre Picard-Hooper added goals for Saint John (5-3-0-0).

Kevin Desfosses made 33 saves for the Remparts (4-6-1).

Screaming Eagles 7, Titan 3

At Sydney, N.S., Nick MacNeil scored a hat trick to lead the Screaming Eagles over Acadie-Bathurst.

Chris Culligan scored twice while Robert Slaney and Kyle Mariani added goals for Cape Breton (8-2-0-0).

Tomas Svoboda, Dany Masse and Tomy Joly replied for the Titan (5-3-1-0).

Mooseheads 6, Rocket 3

At Halifax, Jakub Voracek had four assists as the Mooseheads beat P.E.I.

Stephen Lund, Logan MacMillan, Ryan Hillier, Andrew Bodnarchuk, Eric Louis-Seize and Yuri Cheremetiev scored for Halifax (6-2-0-0).

Brett Morrison, Greg Paynter and Martin Latal countered for the Rocket (3-6-0-0).

Huskies 3, Foreurs 2

At Val-d'Or, Que., Tyler Hawes scored 3:30 into overtime to lead Rouyn-Noranda over the Foreurs.

Michael Dubuc and Pier-Luc Champagne added goals for the Huskies (6-2-1-0).

Martin Thibeault and Jonathan Paquet had the goals for Val-d'Or (4-3-1-1).
