QMJHL Roundup: A look at Tuesday's games @NHL

Matthew Bissonnette capped a hat trick in timely fashion on Tuesday.

The Acadie-Bathurst centre scored the winner with 50 seconds left in regulation as the Titan edged the Rimouski Oceanic 6-5 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Bissonnette scored earlier in the third period and had a power-play goal in the second.

He also assisted on Zach O'Brien's power-play goal in the first.

The hat trick gives Bissonnette 25 goals on the season.

Elsewhere in the QMJHL it was: Baie-Comeau 3, Shawinigan 2; and Val-d'Or 5, Rouyn-Noranda 2.

At Bathurst, N.B., Sebastien Trudeau assisted on all of Bissonnette's goals.

Christophe Lalancette and Sean Girard also scored for the Titan (14-16-4).

Alex Belzile had a goal and two assists for Rimouski (19-15-0), while Alexandre Mallet, Peter Trainor, Jerome Gauthier-Leduc and Petr Straka rounded out the scoring.


Drakkar 3, Cataractes 2

At Shawinigan, Que., Alexandre Ranger's second period goal stood as the eventual winner for Baie-Comeau.

Francis Turbide and Samuel Carrier had the other goals for the Drakkar (16-14-1).

Michael Bournival had both goals for the Cataractes (20-9-4).


Foreurs 5, Huskies 2

At Rouyn-Noranda, Que., Michael Beaudry scored and added an assist as Val-d'Or jumped out to a 2-1 lead and never looked back.

Gabriel Beaupre also scored in the first period for the Foreurs (15-15-3), while Nicolas Larocque-Marcoux, Julien Leduc and Vladislav Shalimov chipped in as well.

Peter Angelopolous and Marc-Alain Begin replied for the Huskies (11-21-2).
