Andre Bouvet-Morrissette scored twice and added two assists to lead the Drummondville Voltigeurs over the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 5-1 on Thursday in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Jerome Raymond had two goals and an assist and Marc-Olivier Brouillard assisted on four of the Voltigeurs' five goals.
The game was tied 1-1 until 4:28 of the third when Bouvet-Morrissette scored his second of the game and kick started Drummondville's four-goal explosion in the third period.
Elsewhere in the QMJHL, it was: Remparts 3, Tigres 0 and Mooseheads 5 Armada 3.
At Cape Breton, N.S., Nikolas Brouillard added the final goal for Drummondville with under two minutes left to play, while Domenic Graham stopped 32 of 33 shots he faced.
Denis Kindl's goal was the only offence for Cape Breton (6-6-1). He tied the game midway through the first period with his sixth of the season.
Philippe Trudeau stopped 26 shots for the Screaming Eagles.
The win improved the Voltigeurs to 5-6-1.
Mooseheads 5, Armada 3
At Halifax, Cameron Critchlow tied the game early in the third period and Alexandre Cote scored the go-ahead goal 15 seconds later as the Mooseheads (7-4-0) beat Blainville-Boisbriand (6-9-0).
Remparts 3, Tigres 0
At Quebec, Louis Domingue made 27 saves as the Remparts blanked Victoriaville (8-5-0).
Owen Werthner, Frederick Roy and Nick Sorensen, into an empty net, scored for Quebec (8-2-2).
