QMJHL Roundup: A look at Sunday's games @NHLdotcom

A power-play goal with 32 seconds remaining in the third period lifted the Quebec Remparts over the Rimouski Oceanic 3-2 on Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Vincent Barnard scored the winning goal and added two assists as Anthony Duclair and Adam Erne also scored for the Remparts (14-4-3).

Peter Trainor and Francis Beauvillier scored for the Oceanic (13-9-0).

Louis Domingue made 21 saves for the win and Carl Hozjan stopped 25 shots in defeat.

Quebec went 2-for-6 on the power play while Rimouski failed to score on two opportunities with the man advantage.

Elsewhere in the QMJHL, it was: Halifax 5, Val-d'Or 3; Moncton 4 Acadie-Bathurst 3 (SO); Rouyn-Noranda 5, Blainville-Boisbriand 2 and Shawinigan 7, P.E.I. 1.

At Quebec City, Beauvillier scored at 16:31 of the first period to give Rimouski a 1-0 lead heading into the first intermission.

The game would stay that way until late in the second period when Duclair scored for the Remparts to tie the game at one.

Quebec took their first lead of the game at 13:58 of the third period when Erne scored on the power play.

The Oceanic tied it at two less than four minutes later when Trainor scored his 12th goal of the season, however, at 19:32 Barnard scored Quebec's second power-play goal of the game to give the Remparts a 3-2 win.

At Halifax, Darcy Ashley had a goal and two assists as the Mooseheads (13-5-1) beat Val-d'Or (10-12-2).


Wildcats 4 Titan 3 (SO)

At Bathurst, N.B., Roman Will made 24 saves and Brandon Gormley scored the shootout winner as Moncton (11-11-1) beat the Titan (8-12-3).


Huskies 5 Drakkar 2

At Rouyn-Noranda, Que., Sven Andrighetto scored a goal and three assists as the Huskies (7-13-2) beat Blainville-Boisbriand (10-11-1).


Cataractes 7 Rocket 1

At Shawinigan, Que., Kirill Kabonov and Anton Zlobin both had two goals and two assists as the Cataractes (14-6-3) defeated P.E.I. (6-14-3).
