QMJHL Roundup: A look at Saturday's games @NHLdotcom

Zach O'Brien increased his lead atop the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League scoring race after picking up three more assists on Saturday as his Acadie-Bathurst Titan defeated the Victoriaville Tigres 6-3.

O'Brien now has 66 points in 38 games and is currently on a nine-game point streak that includes five goals and 14 points.

Mathew Bissonnette scored two goals for Acadie-Bathurst (18-17-4) while Sebastien Trudeau, Etienne Salvail and Christophe Lalancette had a goal and an assist each. Adam Stevens added the other goal.

Brandon Hynes led Victoriaville (21-13-2) with two goals and Yannick Dube added a single.

Robert Steeves made 38 saves for the win as David Honzik allowed four goals on 18 shots before being replaced by Brandon Whitney, who allowed one goal on 19 shots in relief.

O'Brien sits two points ahead of the Victoriaville Tigres' Yanni Gourde who is second with 64 points in 36 games.

Elsewhere in the QMJHL, it was: Rimouski 6, P.E.I. 5; ; Baie-Comeau Gatineau; Shawinigan 7, Rouyn-Noranda 0 and Blainville-Boisbriand 4, Val-d'Or 2.

At Victoriaville, Que., Bissonnette opened the scoring just 17 seconds into the game to give the Titan a 1-0 lead.

Hynes tied it at 3:32 but goals from Stevens and Salvail made it 3-1 Acadie-Bathurst after 20 minutes of play.

Bissonnette scored his second of the game 3:24 into the second period to increase his team's lead to 4-1 however, Hynes scored his second of the game on the power play to make it 4-2 Titan heading into the third period.

Trudeau regained his team a three-goal lead just 14 seconds into the third.

Dube scored at 8:54 to make it 5-3, keeping it close for the Tigres, but an empty-net goal from Lalancette sealed a 6-3 victory for Acadie-Bathurst.


Oceanic 6 Rocket 5

At Rimouski, Que., Francis Beauvillier scored twice and set up one more while Alexandre Mallet had one goal and two assists as the Oceanic (22-17-0) edged P.E.I. (8-24-4).


Drakkar 5 Olympiques 2

At Gatineau, Que., Jean-Philippe Caron had a goal and two assists to lift Baie-Comeau (19-15-2) over the Olympiques (16-16-5).


Cataractes 7 Huskies 0

At Rouyn-Noranda, Que., Anton Zlobin scored two goals and added an assist while Gabriel Gerard made 29 saves as Shawinigan (25-9-4) shutout the Huskies (12-25-2).


Armada 4 Foreurs 2

At Val-d'Or, Que., Christopher Clapperton scored once and set up two others while Cole Hawes had a goal and an assist as Blainville-Boisbriand (20-14-2) beat the Foreurs (15-19-4).
