QMJHL Roundup: A look at Monday's games @NHLdotcom

Gabriel Desjardins had two goals and an assist as the Quebec Remparts hammered the Drummondville Voltigeurs 10-2 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoff action Monday.

The Remparts took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven first-round series and have outscored the Voltigeurs 15-4 thus far. Game 3 is Tuesday in Drummondville, Que.

In other action, Halifax beat Moncton 8-2.

At Quebec City, Logan Shaw also scored twice for the Remparts, while Frederick Roy had a goal and two assists.

Adam Erne, Alexandre Comtois, Jeremie Malouin, Anthony Duclair and Mathieu Lavallee had the other Quebec goals. Philippe Archambault and Mikhail Grigorenko each added three assists.

Marc-Olivier Brouillard and Andre Bouvet-Morrissette replied for Drummondville.

Louis Domingue made 16 saves for Quebec.

Drumondville starter Domenic Graham made 20 saves on 27 shots for Drummondville. Alexandre Veronneau stopped 11 of 14 shots in relief.

Mooseheads 8 Wildcats 2

At Moncton, N.B., Cameron Critchlow, Nathan MacKinnon and Jonathan Drouin each scored twice as Halifax took a 3-0 stranglehold over the Wildcats.

The Mooseheads can clinch the series Tuesday in Moncton.
