QMJHL Roundup: A look at Friday's games @NHL

Zack Phillips 22-game scoring streak is finished.

Phillips failed to register a point on Friday night as his Saint John Sea Dogs were defeated by the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 6-1 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

League scoring leader Zach O'Brien and Sebastien Trudeau led Acadie-Bathurst (15-16-4) with a goal and an assist each while Matthew Bissonnette added a single.

Danick Gauthier scored once and picked up an assist for Saint John (25-9-1) as Aidan Kelly scored the other.

Robert Steeves made 34 saves for the win while Mathieu Corbeil stopped 13 shots in defeat.

Both teams went 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Mario Lemieux holds the league record by scoring at least one point in 61 consecutive games.

Elsewhere in the QMJHL, it was: P.E.I. 6, Halifax 1; Quebec 7, Rouyn-Noranda 3; Victoriaville 5, Rimouski 3; Blainville-Boisbriand 6, Val-d'Or 1; Chicoutimi 2, Baie-Comeau 1 (SO); Gatineau 5 Cape Breton 2 and Shawinigan 3 Drummondville 0.

At Saint John, N.B., After a scoreless first period, Bissonnette opened the scoring for Acadie-Bathurst at 9:10 of the second.

Kelly responded for the Sea Dogs at 18:59, tying it at one heading into the third period.

O'Briend scored at 2:09 of the third to regain the lead for the Titan and at 6:29 Trudeau scored to expand their lead to 3-1.

Gauthier scored at 15:02 to make it a one-goal game however Steeves stopped everything he faced the rest of the way as Acadie-Bathurst came away with a 3-2 victory.

At Charlottetown, Ben Duffy scored four times and assisted on two more as P.E.I. (8-22-3) defeated Halifax (19-8-3).


Remparts 7 Huskies 3

At Quebec, Five players had multi-point games for the Remparts (24-6-3), including Alexandre Comtois who had a goal and two assists, as they crushed Rouyn-Noranda (11-22-2).


Tigres 5 Oceanic 3

At Victoriaville, Que., Yanni Gourde had two goals and two assist while David Honzik stopped 33 shots as the Tigres (21-10-1) downed Rimouski (20-16-0).


Armada 6 Foreurs 1

At Boisbriand, Que., Xavier Ouellett setup four goals while Jesse Tanguy scored once and added an assist as the Armada (17-14-2) beat Val-d'Or (15-16-3).


Sagueneens 2 Drakkar 1 (SO)

At Saguenay, Que., Guillaume Asselin scored the winner in a shootout and Christopher Gibson stopped 19 shots as Chicoutimi (14-10-8) edged Baie-Comeau (16-14-2).


Olympiques 5 Screaming Eagles 2

At Gatineau, Que., Emile Poirier had a hat trick as Robert Pelletier and Adam Chapman chipped in a goal and an assist each to lead the Olympiques (15-13-5) past Cape Breton (14-19-1).


Cataractes 3 Voltiguers 0

At Shawinigan, Que., Kirill Kabanov scored twice and Alex Dubeau made 34 saves as the Cataractes (21-9-4) shutout Drummondville (12-17-5).
