Pyett's second period goal stands up as Regina downs Prince Albert 1-0 @NHL

REGINA, SK - Logan Pyett had the lone goal of the game midway through the second period as the Regina Pats blanked the Prince Albert Raiders 1-0 in WHL action Saturday.

After winning six out of his last eight starts in net, Regina's Linden Rowat was given the night off and Jeff Bosch got the start. Bosch, who had yet to record a win this season, made the most of the opportunity by turning away 19 shots to earn the win for the Pats (7-3-0-0).

Prince Albert (3-6-1-0) went with back up goalie Steven Stanford who, despite limited game action this season, also looked sharp with a 30-save performance - including two stops on breakaways by Regina's Tim Kraus.

Pyett was the difference maker, scoring at 8:15 of the second with a slapshot from the point.

The goal, set up by Garrett Mitchell and Josh Elder, was Pyett's third on the season.
