Puustinen's hat trick leads Kamloops to 5-4 victory over Portland @NHL

PORTLAND, Ore. - Juuso Puustinen scored three power-play goals and assisted on a fourth to lead the Kamloops Blazers to a 5-4 win over the Portland Winter Hawks on Saturday night.

Kamloops (4-4-1-0) scored three power-play goals in the second period to take the lead and scored an even-strength goal on a goal-mouth scramble at 18:32 of the third period. Brock Nixon had a power-play goal and three assists, while Ivan Rohac had assists on all four man-advantage goals.

Sasha Golin had the game-winning goal and added an assist.

Portland (1-8-0-0) got goals from Frazer McLaren, Kevin Undershute, Viktor Sjodin and Tyler Swystun.

Blazers goalie James Priestner made 16 saves for the win, while Jordan White stopped 37 shots.
