Prospect Update: Busy Opening Night in CHL Playoffs

Tim Gettinger picked up a pair of assists Friday night for the top-seeded Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, who beat Saginaw, 5-2, in Game 1 of their opening-round playoffs in the Ontario Hockey League.

Sean Day registered an assist in Kingston's 5-2 loss to North Bay in Game 1 of the OHL's opening-round. The assist gave Day 12 in his last nine games dating back to the regular season.
Brett Howden had an assist for Moose Jaw in its 5-3 Game 1 loss against Prince Albert. Howden closed out the regular season with two goals and 12 assists in his last eight games.
Ty Ronning had an assist for the Vancouver Giants, who took a 1-0 lead in their best-of-seven series against Victoria.
