1st Star: LW Dylan Sikura, Northeastern (NCAA)
The Line: 3 GP, 1G, 5A
Sikura was on a mission in a trio of Northeastern wins last week. The Hobey Baker award hopeful started off by tallying a pair of helpers in a 5-2 win over Boston University to help secure his team's first Beanpot Championship since 1988. The winger then went on to add multi-point performances in back-to-back victories against Vermont. He is now riding a six-game point streak dating back to Feb. 2. Sikura has registered 45 points (15G, 30A) thus far and paces the Huskies at +18.
2nd Star: D Jake Ryczek, Halifax (QMJHL)
The Line: 1 GP, 1G, 2A
The Halifax defenseman had a strong showing in a 12-5 route of Moncton. Ryczek recorded his fourth multi-point performance of the season with a goal and two assists in the tilt. The performance pushed him to 20 points (5G, 15A) through 22 games in the QMJHL.
3rd Star: C Matthew Highmore, Rockford (AHL)
The Line: 3 GP, 3A
The center kept up his impressive offensive numbers with a helper in each of his team's three games. Highmore, who needs just one more goal to set the rookie scoring record in for Rockford, paces the team with 34 points (20G, 14A).
