The Carolina Hurricanes' season may be over, but a number of Canes prospects are making noise in their own playoff runs.
Here are the highlights from Tuesday, April 10.

Morgan Geekie, Tri-City Americans
Center Morgan Geekie, a 2017 third-round pick, earned his second (!!) hat trick of the WHL playoffs and added an assist for a four-point night as the Tri-City Americans took Game 3 of its second-round series against the Victoria Royals, 6-5.
Geekie, who had 84 points (30g, 54a) in 68 regular-season games, leads the WHL in playoff goals (14) and is third in the league in playoff scoring with 21 points (14g, 7a) in just seven games, in six of which Geekie has recorded three or more points.

Jake Bean, Tri-City Americans
Geekie's teammate, defenseman Jake Bean, had a career-high five assists for the Tri-City Americans, who have won all seven of their playoff games so far. Bean, a 2016 first-round pick, ranks tied for first among WHL defensemen in playoff assists (10) and tied for second in points (11) in seven games.
Game 4 between the Americans and the Royals will take place Wednesday night.
Stelio Mattheos, Brandon Wheat Kings
Center Stelio Mattheos, a 2017 third-round pick, tallied a goal and added three assists in the Brandon Wheat Kings' 5-4 victory against the Lethbridge Hurricanes in Game 3 of their second-round series. Mattheos has now has 10 points (5g, 5a) in nine WHL playoff games.

Game 4 between the Wheat Kings and the Hurricanes will take place Wednesday night.
To top off a stellar night for the three skaters, Geekie, Bean and Mattheos were named the WHL's Three Stars for April 10.

Jeremy Helvig, Kingston Frontenacs
Goaltender Jeremy Helvig, a 2016 fifth-round pick, stopped 30 of 32 shots to lead the Kingston Frontenacs to a 3-2 victory over the Barrie Colts, evening their second-round series at two games apiece. Helvig ranks tied for first among OHL netminders in playoff victories and fifth in save percentage (.912).
Game 5 between the Frontenacs and the Colts will take place Thursday night.
