Banner Raising, Special Theme Nights Highlight Pens' Promotional Schedule

The Stanley Cup banner-raising at the home opener Oct. 4 and six special theme nights throughout the season highlight the Penguins' promotional schedule for 2017-18.
The team's fifth Stanley Cup banner will be raised to the rafters of PPG Paints Arena before the Penguins take on the St. Louis Blues Oct. 4 at 8 p.m.

. Among this season's giveaways will be a magnetic Penguins schedule, team calendar, team yearbook, t-shirts and a unique knit hat honoring the Hockey Fights Cancer initiative.
The six theme nights, ranging from Ugly Holiday Sweaters to Star Wars to "The 1970s," will give fans a chance to "dress the part," while the Penguins' regular game-night presentation will be adapted accordingly. Theme nights include:
